Fran Gelb – Company President

Fran Gelb has a Master of Science degree from University of Oregon in Educational Psychology and advanced training in Sensory Integration from Jean Ayres. She is a Certified Archetype Consultant, trained by Caroline Myss. Her background includes 30 years in the public school systems of Northern California as a Special Education Teacher, Integration Specialist, High School Counselor, Guidance Coordinator with the Santa Clara County Office of Education, University Adjunct Professor, Elementary School Principal, Special Education Principal, School Psychologist, and Program Specialist. She is the founder and previous owner of the Reading Perception Center in San Jose. She is the author of several technical books in the field of special education and The Steenburgen Diagnostic Prescriptive Math Program. She is the co-author of Communication, Trust, and Other Important Things, a training program for effective communication that has been adopted by educational, business, and government systems. Fran is passionate about teaching and supporting people to be independent and self reliant.

Judy Mejia – Fresno District Manager

Judy Mejia was raised in Mendota, CA. She was Assistant Office Manager at Silveira Brothers in Fresno for 12 years. She has been with Fran Gelb and Company, Inc. since 2004. For over 20 years she has been on the Board of Directors for Mendota Westside Youth, where she enjoys giving back to her own community. She is passionate about helping others and making a difference in individual’s lives to succeed in meeting their goals. Her family and friends are motivation to keep doing what she loves most. Judy enjoys entertaining and spending time with her loved ones and visiting the happiest place on earth, Disneyland. 

Julianna Trejos – Visalia District Manager

Julianna Trejos is from Porterville, California. She attended College of Sequoias in Visalia and studied Psychology and Child Development and took her CNA classes at Visalia Adult School. She has been with Fran Gelb and Company, Inc. since 2005 and manages a case load as well as overseas the Tulare and Kings County areas. She is bilingual Spanish-English. Her hobbies are walking, exploring nature, and community dancing. She likes to summa dance, cook, crochet and make beanies for her friends and clients. She enjoys helping her clients reach their goals and potential. She says:” It gives me a lot of satisfaction when my clients reach a goal or conquer an obstacle in their personal life. Their victories are my victories. ” “Helping others has been part of my life since early life when I assisted my mother who suffered from a heart illness. It instilled empathy in my young heart and a desire to ease other’s lives when possible. 

Patricia Lau Wong – Administrative Assistant

I grew up in San Francisco and graduated from UCSB with a double major in Sociology and Economics. After I graduating, I spent many years in the insurance industry. During that time,  I pursued and received three advanced Insurance designations.  While working in the insurance industry, I worked in a variety of positions and traveled around the country handling catastrophe claims, auto accident and homeowner claims, trained new management leaders and managed claim handlers.  After leaving the industry,  Fran Gelb recruited me to work with clients and staff in an administrative position. I have a passion for working with people and I enjoy helping them discover their strengths and capabilities.  In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and cooking.
